Work Pattern: 08.00 to 17.00 Mon to Thurs, Fri 08.00 to 15.15

The purpose of the role is to provide support and assist the team to be responsible for bulk products, process plant and systems, understand how process operations deliver company requirements for safety, product quality, cost and customer service and to provide support where appropriate.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Comply with all Food Safety Legislation communicated through the Hygiene Policy, the Quality System and Briefings
  • Understand and comply with all relevant safety procedures & regulations
  • Understand safe systems of work, SOP’s, OPL’s and Risk Assessments
  • Understand the required standards in all process areas
  • Identify and understand the use of all relevant process documentation and records and provide appropriate assistance to the team to complete when necessary
  • Ensure traffic into and out of the Process yard is controlled, secured and have appropriate and accurate document sign off
  • Work as a team to ensure supply of product on time, within specification to the filling lines
  • Understand the product sampling process in conjunction with the QA release of product and the associated processes and documents.
  • Participate in effective shift handovers and communicate clearly
  • Understand & comply with all relevant GMP procedures
  • Understand & comply with all HMRC procedures
  • Understand the principles of continuous improvement
  • Attend training courses & meetings as required
  • Ensure all work areas, entrances, exits and passageways in the process area are clean and free from hazards
  • Ensure all work areas and equipment within our control are regularly and properly maintained to deliver optimum performance
