Border Plant Sales is a family owned and run company in the village of Smallwood in South Cheshire. The Lowe family started the business on their farm in 2004 and have expanded year on year to establish a thriving agricultural machinery business based on the sales and service of McCORMICK Tractors, DIECI Telehandlers and Pottinger equipment.
As well as the sales of new equipment from our partners, BORDER have sourced related agricultural machinery from around the world to supply our growing customer base and we supply nationwide : Tractor Mounted Sprayers, Spreaders, Silage Equipment, Forage Boxes, Trailers, Loaders, Buckets, Grabs, Mowers, Toppers, Harrows, Forestry Equipment from suppliers such as Fleming, Kidd Farm Machinery and much more.
Trade Suppliers play a vital role in ensuring an efficient flow of goods and services between manufacturers and their skilled trade customer base. They operate in a variety of sectors including electrical, plumbing, joinery and general building supplies. Typically, a Trade Supplier will operate a small warehouse and trade counter, which is visited regularly by professional trade customers who have technical knowledge about what they are buying. Trade Suppliers can specialise in roles in a trade business environment, which may include sales, purchasing, account management, logistics and administration. This is a busy and varied role. You will be using portals to order stock . Answering the telephone and dealing with customers.
Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
