Senior Consulting Arboriculturist

The role will offer a qualified arboriculturist an opportunity to work within our insurance service division. You will be working directly with our Principal Arboricultural Consultant and will receive direct mentoring on trees and the law, the planning acts, trees and insurance, trees and policy issues and trees and building pathology. You will therefore receive extensive training, mentoring and support and we would want a candidate who wishes to further his educational base to Chartered level which we will support.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a Degree, Foundation Degree or Diploma in arboriculture.
  • Demonstrate previous relevant experience in arboriculture.
  • Have a high standard of tree and plant identification and knowledge.
  • Be a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
  • Adhere to and understand the importance of health & safety and risk assessment.
  • Have a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 dependent on qualifications and experience

We are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable Dairy Processing Technician for our established family run dairy, with Lely milking robots, in West Sussex.

The role entails operating milk pasteurisers, cream separator, homogeniser and milk filling lines 3 days a week, 4am until 2pm.

Cream production and plant maintenance are required on 2 days a week. 40 hour working week. Weekends off. Salary depending on experience. More hours can be found in other areas of our business if necessary, or in small scale yoghurt and ice cream production for our farm shop

We are looking for someone with a positive can do attitude. Full training will be given although previous experience within the dairy industry is ideal.

We are situated in the South Downs National Park, 15 minutes from the coast and 45 minutes drive from Brighton, with fast links via rail in to central London.
