We are main dealers for Case IH, Spearhead, KRM, Slurry Kat, Bednar, Herbst, AW Trailers, Mzuri & Opico. We stock parts and service support for Case IH tractors and Combines, and offer support for many other leading brands of equipment and parts.

We have a team off fully trained and well experienced Service Technicians, a dedicated spare parts team & an excellent sales team working together to help minimise our customers down time and maximise productivity. Between us, we accumulate years of experience in the industry with wide ranging skills and ability.

Description of vacancy –

As an apprentice Engineer, you will build your knowledge for preparing, servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of agricultural machinery sold by the company, also performing other duties requested by management. Working at the depot or at a customer’s site. You will be required to undertake manufacturer’s training courses on-line and off-site. Work to main dealer working principals following correct procedures to achieve quality and efficiency to deliver industry leading support to our customers. You may be required to respond to out-of-hours call outs and work overtime.

Main Job activities – 

  • Strong problem solving
  • Routine Servicing and Maintenance of agricultural Equipment.
  • Diagnosing technical hydraulic & electrical faults
  • Carrying out repairs.
  • Preparing machinery for delivery to a high standard

Skills required – 

  • Driving licence required (or a way to get to work)
  • Knowledge of agriculture is desirable
  • Can do attitude to resolve issues
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Confident communication skills to internal and external contacts

Training – 

  • Reaseheath Training will be the apprenticeship provider for this Level 2 apprenticeship.
  • The employer will give guidance and support throughout
  • Off-the-job training must make up at least 20% of the apprentice’s contracted hours, over the total duration of the apprentice’s planned training period

Future Prospects –

Typical future roles include qualified engineer, Master Technician, workshop supervisor, service manager, sales and parts advisors.
