  • Edging
  • Grass cutting
  • Weeding
  • Planting trees, shrubs and seasonal bedding
  • Pruning
  • Small tree works
  • Grounds clearance
  • Any other gardening tasks associated with grounds maintenance
  • Fencing
  • Paving
  • Undertake various landscaping and building tasks as instructed in order to fulfil client requirements
  • Complete any associated tasks that may be required for the works to be completed in line with client requirements
  • Carry out basic property improvements and renovation tasks as instructed and in order to meet the client requirements
  • Carry out and record reports for site visits
  • Report any site issues to the team leader or line manager as soon as the issues are identified

Complete daily work sheets and time in motion studies on works carried out and as instructed

Due to the nature of the work there is a requirement to use company equipment considered essential for the efficient and effective achievement of contractual agreements with our clients- full training will need to be provided Reaseheath college.

Description of the apprentice’s future prospects:

Opportunities to become team leaders and progress to managerial roles.

Opportunities to complete specialist training such as tree felling, chainsaw in order to complete unique jobs for our clients.

Training to be Provided:

  • Reaseheath Training will be the apprenticeship provider for this Level 2 apprenticeship.
  • The employer will give guidance and support throughout
  • Off-the-job training must make up at least 20% of the apprentice’s contracted hours, over the total duration of the apprentice’s planned training period
  • This Standard apprenticeship may include Functional Skills in maths, English & ICT

GCSES English and Maths or equivalent are desirable however not essential as Functional Skills are offered as part of the Apprenticeship Framework.
