Farm/Herd Manager
Robotic Dairy Farm – Cheshire
An exciting and unique opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Farm / Herd Manager for 100 Holstein cows (plus followers) on a high yielding robotic dairy farm near Knutsford, Cheshire.
This position offers you freedom to make decisions on all aspects of the Dairy Business.
As Tesco aligned milk producers, we are looking for a dedicated individual to further advance the herd status within the industry, using top genetics, and sexed semen, committed to cow welfare, whilst maintaining a commercial focus.
Working as part of the AG Team, you must be confident to operate independently within the farming unit, supported as required to successfully develop the herd and the facilities.
Robotic milking experience is preferred but not a prerequisite; a can-do positive attitude and passion for the industry are essential.
The successful candidate:
1. Has extremely high standards with a particular eye for attention to detail essential
2. Enthusiastic and a good communicator essential
3. Willingness to take responsibility essential
4.Experience in Al and foot trimming would be preferable

We are seeking an individual that can inspire and promote, attend meetings / Agricultural shows, and become a member of the local farming community group.
AG Products ambition is to run a herd of a 150 Holstein cows plus followers on in Cheshire. Involved in promoting and testing flagship AG Research and Development farm innovations.
