Businesses attend net-zero webinar hosted by Reaseheath College

Last week Reaseheath College hosted an insightful webinar which informed businesses about how to reduce their carbon emissions.

Reaseheath College worked in partnership with Positive Planet to deliver the conference, which was attended by businesses across Cheshire.

The founders of Positive Planet explained what exactly carbon neutral and net-zero mean, and shared ways businesses can help to omit less greenhouse gases than the planet is capable of absorbing.

The session also provided attendees with information about how businesses can calculate their carbon footprint, as well as a simple five-step plan to reduce their carbon emissions.

Head of Business Development and Commercial at Reaseheath College Anna Harvey said:

“It is becoming increasingly more urgent that businesses of all sizes reduce their carbon footprint and embrace sustainability to help protect our planet before it’s too late.

This inspiring webinar was a great opportunity to explore some of the ways businesses can take this necessary action to effectively tackle climate change, while still running a successful business which meets customers’ needs.”
