Reaseheath College are delighted to launch a new Level 5 Engineering Management and Level 5 Food and Drink Management Programme. Multiple employers have voiced their opinions into the development of the apprenticeships to ensure the potential apprentices gain the relevant industry skills and knowledge needed to succeed. The programmes will be accredited through the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and will be contextualized to the engineering and food industry to ensure employers needs are met.
Overview of the role
Managing teams and projects in line with an organisation’s operational or departmental strategy. Key responsibilities may include creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, managing change, financial and resource management, talent management, coaching and mentoring.
An Operations or Departmental Manager is someone who manages teams and/or projects, and achieving operational or departmental goals and objectives, as part of the delivery of the organisations strategy. They are accountable to a more senior manager or business owner.
