If you would like to know how to choose and maintain your knives for butchery correctly, and learn how to use them safely, our Basic Knife Skills course is for you.
On this one-day course, you will look at:
- The range of knives available to you
- Why butchers select their knives
- How to maintain a sharp knife and the range of sharpening equipment
- Safety equipment and the safe use of knives in a working environment
- Hygiene storage and use
There are no entry requirements for this course. It would be well suited for anyone who is planning to use and maintain knives and prepare meat.
